FAQFrequently asked questions about party & large marquees
As a rule, your marquee does not require a floor as it can be anchored directly to the existing ground. For a higher-quality appearance and a dry, non-slip floor on unpaved surfaces, HALTENT offers wooden flooring and cassette flooring. We will be happy to advise you personally on which floor is best suited to your tent.
A large marquee is a large, temporary tent that is often used for events, parties or exhibitions. It offers sufficient space for a large number of people and can be used for various purposes such as weddings, conferences, trade fairs or sporting events. Although there is no exact definition, it can be considered a large tent from a span of 15.0 metres.
Before you buy a party tent or large marquee, you should think carefully about how many guests the tent halls should be able to accommodate. You can use the following rule of thumb to calculate the right size:
Standing: Number of people x 0.5 m² = space required in m²
With rows of chairs: Number of people x 0.7 m² = space required in m²
With beer tent sets: Number of people x 0.8 m² = space required in m²
With tables: Number of people x 1.2 m² = space required in m²
The durability of PVC tarpaulins depends on various factors, such as frequency of use, weather conditions and maintenance. In general, HALTENT tarpaulins are very robust, waterproof, fireproof or flame-retardant and have a high quality finish. With good care, they therefore have a long service life.
