The heavy fabric tarpaulins used are extremely robust and have proven themselves in constant use by professional tent hire companies for decades. Depending on weather conditions and use, a service life of many years can be expected. If a tarpaulin is damaged in the rough and tumble of everyday work, it can be easily repaired on site without dismantling or simply replaced.
This depends on the service life, as well as the type of mounting and local requirements. In most cases, no major formalities are required for temporary erection, e.g. for a short event, apart from the submission of an Inspection Book. If the tent is to remain in place for a longer period, please check with your local building authority whether you need to obtain a building permit. We will be happy to assist you with this.
No. Our pagoda tents, party tents etc. are anchored to the ground with pegs. This means you can set up your tent on almost any surface and save on cost-intensive foundations. For surfaces where ground pegs anchoring is not possible, HALTENT offers anchoring-free alternatives for your catering tent. HALTENT tents are therefore particularly suitable for temporary set-ups, e.g. for short events.
